Oklahoma Baseball Leagues

Every adult baseball league we track in Oklahoma: what each one actually is, where it plays, and who to talk to. Written from the leagues’ own words where they still keep words somewhere, and honestly labelled where they do not.

OKC Baseball League

  • Oklahoma City
  • Other

The OKC Baseball League has no website in our records at all, which leaves Oklahoma City, a metro of one and a half million, represented here by a name and nothing else.

Oklahoma City has a AAA club, a college programme at OU forty minutes down I-35 that has won multiple national titles, and the Women's College World Series every June, which fills the city with baseball for a fortnight. The infrastructure is all there.

An adult league with no findable address in a market that size is a gap worth closing. Send us anything.

Tulsa Metro Adult Baseball Association

  • Tulsa
  • Independent

The Tulsa Metro Adult Baseball Association is one of only two Oklahoma listings in our records, the other being an OKC league with no website at all.

Two leagues for a state of four million is thin, and Oklahoma has a real baseball tradition: Mickey Mantle came out of Commerce, the state has produced a steady stream of professionals, and the college programmes are serious. The gap is more likely in our records than in the state.

We could not extract the divisions or the season from the site. If you know of Oklahoma leagues we do not list, that is a bigger favour than correcting this one.

Before you ask

Common questions

  • How many adult baseball leagues are there in Oklahoma?

High Cheese currently tracks 2 active adult leagues in Oklahoma, carrying 0 teams between them. That is what we can stand behind today, not a claim that nothing else exists. Leagues form in somebody's driveway every spring and tell no one for two years.

  • How do I join a league in Oklahoma?

Make a profile and turn the free agent switch on. That is the whole ask. Managers across Oklahoma search this pool the week their shortstop discovers a work trip every Saturday through August, and they find whoever put themselves in it. You list what you throw, where you play, how far you will drive. The invitation comes to you. The other route is emailing an address nobody has opened since the last board handover, then waiting.

  • When does the season run in Oklahoma?

Season lengths differ by league and are listed with each one below where the league states them. Broadly, amateur baseball is a late-spring-to-early-autumn arrangement, compressed at the northern end of the map into whatever window the weather grudgingly concedes.

  • Which Oklahoma towns have leagues?

Leagues on this page are based in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Most draw players from well outside their listed town, so a drive is normal and nobody will think less of you for it.
