Georgia Baseball Leagues

Every adult baseball league we track in Georgia: what each one actually is, where it plays, and who to talk to. Written from the leagues’ own words where they still keep words somewhere, and honestly labelled where they do not.

  • Conyers
  • 9 teams
  • 18+ and 30+
  • MSBL/MABL

Atlanta East Metro MSBL/MABL runs out of Conyers, and embl.net has an expired certificate, so every visitor gets a browser warning instead of a schedule.

This is the same problem we found in Denver and Cheyenne, and it is worth naming the pattern: leagues whose sites were built before automatic certificate renewal became standard are now failing one by one as the person who used to remember to renew moves on. Nothing about the league changed. The web changed underneath it.

Conyers is twenty-five miles east of downtown, which with Atlanta traffic is its own county as far as a Sunday morning is concerned. The east side deserves its own league and has one. It also deserves a front door that does not warn people away.

  • Atlanta
  • Est. 1988
  • 51 teams
  • 18+, 28+, and 35+
  • MSBL/MABL

Atlanta MSBL/MABL dates to 1988 and carries fifty-one teams, tying it with Central Florida as the third largest league in our records. Its site sits behind a host that returns a 403 to anything that is not a browser, so the divisions and fee are published and unreadable here.

Fifty-one teams in thirty-eight years, in a metro that has roughly tripled in population over the same span. Atlanta is a city almost entirely composed of people who arrived from somewhere else, and a league that size is one of the few institutions where that stops mattering by the second inning.

We hold four Georgia listings and three of them are in metro Atlanta: this one, the East Metro league out of Conyers, and West Metro out of Smyrna. Between them they cover the ring road. Go to the site for the specifics; it will have them.

  • Atlanta
  • 24 teams
  • Roy Hobbs Baseball

The Atlanta Men's Baseball Association is live at atlmba.com and closed to us behind a 403.

It is the fourth Atlanta-area listing in our records and the only one calling itself an association rather than a league. Alongside a fifty-one team MSBL affiliate, a west metro league in Smyrna and an east metro one in Conyers, that suggests either a distinct organisation or an umbrella over some of them, and we cannot tell which from a status code.

Atlanta has more organised adult baseball than almost anywhere in the south. What it does not have, in our records, is a single readable description of how those four bodies relate to each other. Any of the four could clear that up.

  • Augusta
  • Est. 2025
  • 18+ and 30+
  • MSBL/MABL

Augusta MSBL was founded in 2025 and has no website yet, which at one year old is simply where a league is.

Augusta is a city known for one week in April and largely left alone for the other fifty-one, which makes it a reasonable place to start something. The population is stable, the weather permits a long season, and the nearest large league is a two-hour drive up I-20 to Atlanta.

A new MSBL affiliate needs players more than it needs a homepage. If you are in the CSRA and looking for a game, this is the newest option in Georgia and the one most likely to answer a message quickly.

  • Savannah
  • 13 teams
  • Other

The Savannah Adult Baseball League has run since 2006 across two divisions, a Major League at 18+ and a Senior League at 35+, and expects ten or eleven teams for the fall of 2026. Recent clubs include the Knights, Royals, Braves, Thrashers, Marlins, Orioles and White Sox.

The scheduling is the useful detail: Friday evenings at 6:45 and Sundays at eleven and two. A Friday night game is a rarer offer than it sounds, because it means the league has secured lights and is willing to end a working week with baseball rather than start a weekend with it. Spring opens in mid-February, which in coastal Georgia is entirely reasonable and would be lunacy anywhere north of Richmond. Fall opens September 13. Playoffs are at L. Scott Stell Park.

The league keeps a Hall of Fame, recently sent three players to the US Military WarDogs America 250 Tour, and makes a point of supporting the content creators inside its own community, which is a very 2026 thing for an amateur league to have a position on. Player pool form for anyone without a team. [email protected].

  • Smyrna
  • Est. 2004
  • 16 teams
  • 35+, 45+, and 65+
  • MSBL/MABL

West Metro Atlanta MSBL has been running since 2004 out of Smyrna with sixteen teams. Its own domain forwards to a HomeTeamsOnline site, which answers browsers and refuses us, so the specifics stay on the far side of a 403.

Smyrna sits inside the perimeter's northwest corner, and a west metro league is a deliberate geographic carve-out: Atlanta traffic makes a cross-town Sunday game an ordeal, and running a separate league on one side of the city is often the difference between a full roster and a forfeit.

Twenty-two years and sixteen teams is a healthy, stable size, the kind of league that has stopped growing because it has found the number that works. Organisers: send the divisions and the fee and we will carry them.

Before you ask

Common questions

  • How many adult baseball leagues are there in Georgia?

High Cheese currently tracks 6 active adult leagues in Georgia, carrying 113 teams between them. That is what we can stand behind today, not a claim that nothing else exists. Leagues form in somebody's driveway every spring and tell no one for two years.

  • How do I join a league in Georgia?

Make a profile and turn the free agent switch on. That is the whole ask. Managers across Georgia search this pool the week their shortstop discovers a work trip every Saturday through August, and they find whoever put themselves in it. You list what you throw, where you play, how far you will drive. The invitation comes to you. The other route is emailing an address nobody has opened since the last board handover, then waiting.

  • When does the season run in Georgia?

Season lengths differ by league and are listed with each one below where the league states them. Broadly, amateur baseball is a late-spring-to-early-autumn arrangement, compressed at the northern end of the map into whatever window the weather grudgingly concedes.

  • Which Georgia towns have leagues?

Leagues on this page are based in Atlanta, Augusta, Conyers, Savannah, and Smyrna. Most draw players from well outside their listed town, so a drive is normal and nobody will think less of you for it.
