02 · The championships

Two weeks in the fall decide the year

One in the Arizona desert, one on the Florida coast, both on complexes that spend March hosting people who get paid for this.

The Crown Jewel

MSBL/MABL World Series

Phoenix · Scottsdale · Tempe · Mesa, Arizona

The largest amateur baseball tournament on earth. Every fall over three weeks, ~300 teams and 6,000 players, families in tow, take over the MLB Spring Training fields. Teams play five or six pool games, then the top teams advance to single-elimination playoffs.

Sunshine State Showdown

The Fall Classic

West Palm Beach, Florida

The east-coast counterpart to the World Series, played each fall on South Florida's MLB Spring Training complexes. Around 90 teams compete across divisions from 18+ to 65+: sun, palm trees, and serious baseball.
