Fargo North Dakota MSBL was founded in 2023 and has no website. We also carry a North Dakota MSBL, founded 2026, also in Fargo, also with no website.

Two MSBL affiliates in the same city, three years apart, neither with an address. The likeliest story is one league that reorganised or renamed and got recorded twice, though it is entirely possible that a 2023 league and a 2026 league genuinely coexist in a metro of a quarter million.

North Dakota's baseball season is among the shortest in the country and its winters are the reason this state has two listings rather than twenty. Anybody playing in Fargo could tell us in one sentence whether these are one league or two, and we would be grateful.

North Dakota MSBL was founded in 2026, making it the newest league in this entire directory. No website yet, which at a few months old would be remarkable to expect.

It sits in Fargo alongside our Fargo North Dakota MSBL record from 2023, and one of the two things is true: either somebody restarted or rebranded an existing league, or a second MSBL affiliate has appeared in the same city. We are not going to decide which from two rows in a database.

Founding a baseball league in North Dakota is an act of some optimism. The season is short, the spring is unreliable, and the nearest large league is a four-hour drive to Minneapolis. Somebody did it anyway this year, which is the most encouraging fact on this page.

Before you ask

Common questions

  • How many adult baseball leagues are there in North Dakota?

High Cheese currently tracks 2 active adult leagues in North Dakota, carrying 5 teams between them. That is what we can stand behind today, not a claim that nothing else exists. Leagues form in somebody's driveway every spring and tell no one for two years.

  • How do I join a league in North Dakota?

Make a profile and turn the free agent switch on. That is the whole ask. Managers across North Dakota search this pool the week their shortstop discovers a work trip every Saturday through August, and they find whoever put themselves in it. You list what you throw, where you play, how far you will drive. The invitation comes to you. The other route is emailing an address nobody has opened since the last board handover, then waiting.

  • When does the season run in North Dakota?

Season lengths differ by league and are listed with each one below where the league states them. Broadly, amateur baseball is a late-spring-to-early-autumn arrangement, compressed at the northern end of the map into whatever window the weather grudgingly concedes.

  • Which North Dakota towns have leagues?

Leagues on this page are based in Fargo and Minot. Most draw players from well outside their listed town, so a drive is normal and nobody will think less of you for it.
