Written by men the league later inducted
The league publishes By Laws and a separate Player Conduct policy. Its Hall of Fame explains where they came from: a long-serving treasurer and executive board member is credited with having a meaningful impact on the policy making and shaping of the league rules as they exist today, and with being part of the foundation for the league's current success.
Attributing the rulebook to a named man, decades later, is how an old league keeps its constitution from being treated as scenery. High Cheese keeps a league's rules and conduct policy beside the schedule and against the rosters, so the standards a hall of famer wrote are on the page his successors read.
