One result, several destinations
The league keeps schedule and results together on a page for every club, and those results feed everything else it publishes: the standings, nine statistics pages including separate rookie boards, the batting and pitching leaders, the awards, and a champions table that records the regular season winner as well as the playoff champion.
Somebody is reconciling all of that by hand across a 24-game season and twelve teams. On High Cheese a final entered once becomes the box score, the standings line, every player's statistics and the season record together, so the reconciliation stops being a job.
