Four of five, in eighty words
Who plays: a highly competitive league where most players have played college baseball and many have played professionally. How big: twelve teams, spanning Lynn to Kingston, New Hampshire. When: a 24-game schedule from late May, playoffs in August. Where: the North Shore of Boston up into southern New Hampshire, with a Fields and Directions page.
What it costs is the gap — the league runs a payment portal and publishes no figure. Telling a prospective player the standard before anything else is the right order for a semi-pro league; a man who has not played since high school knows immediately. A claimed league on High Cheese answers all five beside the standings, the statistics and the schedule.
