Every dollar accounted for
The fee is $910 per team and the city says exactly what it buys: twelve to thirteen regular season Sunday games, thirty-six pro-quality baseballs, awards for first and second, a $400 refundable forfeiture bond, and administrative fees. Umpires are extra and paid on the field — $100 per game per team, before first pitch. Registration for a spring season runs from late January to late February, with league play beginning in mid-April, and a minimum number of clubs is required to open each division.
Nothing else in this directory itemises a team fee down to the number of baseballs, and the refundable bond is the mechanism that makes forfeits expensive without making them fatal. A High Cheese join page carries those terms in public and a free agent pool underneath, so a manager can price his season and fill his roster from the same page.
