An honest answer to a player who is too late
The league says managers recruit for their own teams independently, and that its player interest form exists to help them reach people. It then says the thing almost nobody says: rosters are closed for the 2026 season, and forms submitted now will be forwarded to managers for 2027.
It goes further and states there is no guarantee of being recruited, only that the league tries to put interested players in touch with teams who need players.
Telling somebody the door is shut, and keeping his details for the next one, is more use than an open form that goes nowhere.
High Cheese gives a league a free agent pool that carries that intent year round, so a man who asked in August is in front of managers in January rather than in a folder.
