Outstanding Team Players, decided by the teams
The league asks each club to name players in five categories: Team Slugger, Team Ace, Team Ironman, Team MVP and Team Gold Glove, and publishes the submissions as Outstanding Team Players.
Team Ironman is the category worth noticing. Nobody hands out an award for turning up unless turning up is the hard part, which in adult baseball it is.
Devolving the choice to each club rather than picking league-wide winners means seven times as many players get named, which for a seven-team league is most of the league.
Scoring on High Cheese produces the numbers behind those choices as a byproduct of the game, so a Slugger and an Ace have lines attached to them.
