Sixty-six seasons, because it plays two a year
The SFBL was established in 1992 and counts itself carefully: 35th year, 66th season. Two of those numbers rather than one, because it has run a spring and a fall season every year, which is how thirty-five years produces sixty-six competitions.
It plays across 18+, 28+ and 35+ divisions from Miami through Broward to Palm Beach, on Sunday mornings and early afternoons. Its current clubs include Miami JC, the Broward Senators, the Miami Yankees, the South Florida Astros, the Margate Marlins, the Miami Amigos, the Delray Devil Rays, the West Palm Beach Cardinals, the Miami Brewers, the Miami Buccaneers, the South Florida Rays and the Miami Red Sox.
Its own archive puts the scale in one line: 47 recorded seasons since 2003, 120 champions, 229 teams ever.
This is the most completely published league in this directory, and its records still sit on a rented platform. A High Cheese league page keeps the schedule, the standings and every roster at an address the league owns, so 229 clubs and 120 championships belong to the league rather than to its software.
