Recap and box score, every time
Every result on this league's front page carries two links: a recap and a box score. Playoff games are flagged separately from regular season ones.
An August weekend: Miami JC beat the Broward Senators 7-3 in a playoff, the Margate Marlins beat the South Florida Rays 11-4, the Miami Yankees beat the South Florida Astros 5-2 in a playoff, and the Miami Buccaneers beat the Miami Red Sox 2-0.
Every club's record travels with its name in the fixture -- Miami JC at 11-1, the Astros at 10-1-1, the Red Sox at 0-11-1 -- so a scoreline arrives with its context attached.
That is a properly resourced results service. A score reported once on a High Cheese league page becomes the standings, the club's record and the player's line at the same moment, at an address the league owns rather than one it rents.
