Three statistical sections, not one
The SFBL keeps player statistics, team statistics and a Player of the Week as three distinct parts of its site.
A weekly award is the tell. It requires somebody to look across every division's box scores each Monday and make a judgement -- which means the statistics are not only recorded but read.
Across sixty-six seasons and 229 clubs, the underlying record must be enormous.
Career and season leaderboards that build themselves from the scored games are standard on a High Cheese league page, with a page for each player underneath -- so a Player of the Week in 2026 and a Player of the Week in 2009 are both findable by name.
