Blowouts, and one that could not be settled
The results published for 2026 include a 23-14 between the Sunsets and the Goliaths on July 7, a Sunsets 5 Stars 5 marked tie on July 14, and Tritons 21 Goliaths 1 on the same night. The Goliaths also won 9-0 against the Stars on July 16 and 9-0 against the Tritons on July 23, which is a strange season for a club that started 0-and-everything.
Every one of those is typed onto the schedule by hand and appears nowhere else — not in a box score, not in a statistic. On High Cheese a final entered once becomes the box score, the standings line and the season record together, so a 23-14 Tuesday leaves a trace beyond one line of text.
