An actual newsroom
The top story of June 15, 2026, datelined Federal League Wire Service: the Davie Goliaths, last and winless, changed managers. Former league MVP Norman Vazquez, in his managing debut, stepped down with the full support of the club's upper management — "I love the game," he said, "but the stress of running a club was overbearing" — and veteran pitcher Carlos Martinez took over saying he was committed to winning. The piece notes the club had been outscored 55-9, and the writer cannot resist calling them the Philistines.
Nothing else in this directory writes like that about its own amateur baseball, and it is the single best reason to read this league's site. A league on High Cheese gets a wire on its own page where finals post themselves as the books are finalized, so the copy sits beside the record it is describing rather than in a file called SoFlaBaseball.htm.
