Answered, in the league's own words
When does the season start: June 6 for the 2026 summer. Are composite bats allowed: no, all wood, Minor League Baseball approved only. When are tryouts: six to eight weeks before each season, next on Saturday February 20, open to anyone 18 or over. What is the difference between the Original and Expansion Divisions: none any more, the names are kept to honour the history. What is the Liberty League: a wood bat league playing Sunday mornings March through October. How are awards chosen: an awards committee, closed ballot, announced by the league office in the off season. Where else can I ask: 954-427-8680 or [email protected].
Answering the question about a distinction that no longer exists — and saying so plainly — is a league being honest at its own expense. A claimed league on High Cheese answers all of that on the same page as the standings and the schedule, where a man who has just found the league is already standing.
