Four of five, in detail
Who can play: 19 and over on Tuesdays, 30 and over on Sunday mornings, most with high school experience, all skill levels welcome. When: fall from September 8, Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings, first pitch 7:00 to 7:10 with a 10:15 curfew on the weeknight games. Where: six county parks across Palmetto, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota, with addresses. How to join: register, whether or not you have a team, and take the weekly short-of-players email.
What it costs is the one thing the site never says, beyond fees being due September 1. A claimed league on High Cheese answers all five on the same page as the schedule and the standings, so the last question is not the one that stops somebody signing up.
