The taxi squad is the point
Fall registration is open with three routes — new players, the 19+ fall season and the 30+ fall season — and the league says the thing that matters plainly: all interested players can register, and everyone who is registered gets updated each week if teams are short, and can reply if available to play. It calls these taxi opportunities. The fall season begins September 8 and fees for roster players are due by September 1.
That weekly email is a free agent pool with a mailing list bolted to it, and it is the single most useful idea any league in this directory has had. High Cheese runs the same thing as a live pool on the league's own page — every available man visible to every manager the moment a club is short, without anybody composing an email on a Sunday night.
