Baseball for everyone
FL Adult Baseball describes itself as a not-for-profit organization for all adults who enjoy America's pastime and just want to play baseball, built around friendship and respect and offering a fun, safe and competitive environment. It runs two competitions out of Manatee and Sarasota counties: a 19+ Tuesday Night Baseball League and a 30+ Sunday Morning Baseball League, with competitive parity as the stated aim. Most players have at least high school experience and all skill levels are welcome.
Behind that sentence sits the most detailed rulebook in this directory, six county parks with addresses, a named board of six and eleven partners. The one thing missing is the season itself — no schedule, standings, roster or result is published anywhere. High Cheese gives a league that already runs itself this well the part it has not got: the fixtures, the table and every roster on the same address as the rules.
