Three ways in, all of them open
The CFABL has Fall 2026 registration open on three separate tracks: New Player Registration, New Team Registration and New Umpire Registration.
Recruiting umpires through the same front door as players is the thing worth noticing. Nearly every league in this directory publishes nothing at all about officiating, and a good number of them are quietly short of crews every weekend. This one treats it as an intake problem and solves it the same way it solves rosters.
It also splits payment into an Individual Player Fee and a Full Team Fee, so a club can pay as one or its players can pay as many.
High Cheese runs the roster, the schedule and the umpire assignment off one season, so the three intakes this league already separates feed the same set of games.
