Better than a store
The league sells nothing itself and has instead lined up six manufacturers: two glove makers and four bat makers, with a wholesale rate on custom wood bats and a league discount code.
For an amateur league that is the right trade. Nobody has to warehouse anything, and a player gets a $210 bat for $120 because his league went and asked.
Bats break. In a league with four bat partners, somebody has done that maths.
High Cheese carries the same idea as a shelf on every league and team page, so the offers travel with the roster rather than sitting on a home page.
