Three lines, and one of them is an invitation
The published rules are that the league is 19 and over, recreational, and welcomes all skill levels in a club-style atmosphere, playing for the fun of the game.
That last part is doing real work: a league that takes walk-ups has to tell a nervous 34-year-old in advance that nobody will mind how he plays. No rulebook, roster limit, bat standard or game length is published. High Cheese keeps a league's rules beside its schedule, so a walk-up knows whether to bring wood before he turns up at Braden River.
