Thanked on the front page
The league keeps an Our Team Sponsors block on its homepage, headed with a thank you -- so businesses are backing individual clubs across the competition rather than the league centrally.
At 150 teams, that is potentially a large number of local businesses whose names appear on jerseys and nowhere a search engine can read.
A sponsor shown beside a club's own page, its fixture list and its standings on a High Cheese team page is visible to the players, their families and anyone looking the team up -- which is what a business paying for shirts is actually buying.
