Ten games, and nobody plays Thanksgiving
The fall season is ten games plus playoffs, beginning the weekend of 12 and 13 September, with the league stating plainly that there are no games on Thanksgiving weekend.
Everything is played on a Saturday or a Sunday, across divisions from 18+ to 55+.
Ten games and a bracket, times 150 teams, is roughly 750 fixtures in a season on a couple of weekend days.
A High Cheese schedule puts each of those games and its ground into every player's phone and moves them in place when a field goes down, which at this volume is the difference between a league office and a telephone tree.
