The tryout field, and no others
The only ground the league identifies anywhere is Hilton Head County Park, where its open tryouts are staged division by division through a Sunday.
For a competition running 150 teams every weekend across San Diego County, that is one field named out of what must be dozens.
The league's non-alcoholic, non-tobacco policy is the clearest evidence of what those grounds are: public parks and school fields held on conditions.
A High Cheese schedule attaches the ground to each game, so a player joining a new club learns where he is driving from the fixture rather than from a group message.
