River City NABA

River City NABA Fields

Quality playing fields are one of three selling points, and the parking is at your own risk.

A warning instead of a list

The league keeps a field use page and names quality playing fields as one of the three advantages of playing with it. No ground is identified anywhere on the public site.

What it does publish about its venues is a warning, in capitals, on the homepage: parking at all fields is always at your own risk, and neither the league nor the venues are responsible for damage caused by flying baseballs, bats or anything else, nor for theft or vandalism. Players are told to park clear of flying equipment, secure their cars, leave nothing in sight, and mind their own gear before, during and after the game -- because their equipment is their responsibility.

That is a league that has had cars hit and bags stolen, and has written it down rather than pretending otherwise.

A High Cheese schedule attaches the ground to each game, so the venue and the warning travel with the fixture to the man about to park there.
