An empty row, and an address
The league keeps a league sponsors block on its homepage, and what it currently contains is an invitation -- add your logo here, with the president's email beneath it.
Being honest about having no sponsors yet is better than a stale logo strip, and it is at least a clear offer.
What a prospective backer cannot see is anything to buy: no traffic, no standings, no rosters, nothing a business would be putting its name beside.
A High Cheese league page puts a sponsor next to the fixture list and the standings players open every week, which is the thing that makes the empty row worth filling.
