Partnered rather than sponsored
Shasta does not sell advertising. What it publishes instead is a set of relationships: an ongoing partnership with the Enterprise Lions Club, through which it contributes to larger community-oriented projects and events, and coordination with the Shasta Dam Area Little League, Anderson Little League and the Redding Colt 45s.
For a not-for-profit that already keeps player costs at thirteen dollars a game, that is a different model -- the league is a community organisation among others rather than an audience being sold.
A High Cheese league page can carry those partners beside the fixture list players open each week, which is where a service club's name is actually seen by the families it serves.
