The league keeps no photo or video gallery, across sixteen seasons and more than a dozen clubs whose full records it otherwise maintains.
Shasta Baseball League in detail
- Founded in 2018 by five men, run as a not-for-profit, and it breaks for the summer on purpose.
- Four games a Sunday at one field, with the umpires named on every line.
- Records are kept twice — what happened, and what the standings say.
- Every result sits in the schedule table, in the column beside the umpires.
- Every club, every season, every name change and every championship, active and inactive.
- Team records are kept exhaustively; individual statistics are not published.
- A PO box, a telephone number, and two addresses at the league's own domain.
- About thirteen dollars a game, paid to your manager, with the arithmetic explained.
- Four grounds across three cities, with Wynne Price carrying most of the season.
- Seven innings, 135 minutes, nine-inning playoffs, and a published rulebook.
- An attention banner at the top of the page, used for real changes.
- An ongoing partnership with a service club, and coordination with three little leagues.
- Two playoff games at nine innings with no time limit, then a championship.
- Founded mid-2018 by five named men, with sixteen seasons on record.
- A director and a three-man board, all named.
- Cost, season, game length, fields and why there is no summer baseball.
- A player consent form, required to play, and a rules and regulations document.
- Two seasons and one deliberate gap: no baseball between mid-June and mid-August.
- Hats and jerseys are a team expense, added by the manager on top of league fees.
- Named on every game in the schedule — the only league here that does it.
