Discounts rather than banners
SCABL names two sponsors and attaches the same thing to both: a member discount. Trinity Bat, a bat manufacturer, and Phiten, which makes recovery and support products.
That is exactly the right pair for a wood bat league of adults -- one sells the thing that breaks, the other sells the thing that hurts -- and both are offering the league's players a price rather than putting a logo on a page.
A sponsorship a player actually uses is worth more to a business than one he scrolls past.
A High Cheese league page puts a sponsor beside the fixture list players open every week, which is where a discount code gets remembered.
