The president answers the phone
River City publishes one contact and makes it personal: Mike Williams, President, with [email protected] and (916) 390-7884 on the homepage, and an invitation in his own words to email or call and talk about the league.
The same address is given for sponsorship enquiries and appears again at the foot of every page.
That is what the league means by responsive leadership, and it is a genuine differentiator -- almost no league in this directory puts a named person and a phone number where a stranger will see them first.
It is also one man carrying registrations, sponsorship, umpire complaints and disciplinary reports in a single inbox. A High Cheese league page routes a message to the role that should handle it, with the join form, the roster and the schedule behind the same address.
