An office with powers
The league keeps a contact section, and its rulebook establishes who is behind it: a Board of Directors and a President, incorporated in California, with authority over every player, team and coach transaction, over discipline, and over appeals.
The board also administers the Hall of Fame, gathering nominations, paring them to the annual limit and voting.
No individual officer is named on the public site.
A High Cheese league page attaches a working contact to each role at the league's own address, so an appeal, a trade and a Hall of Fame nomination go to the people who handle them rather than into one form.
