Named across thirty-seven years
Roughly twenty-six teams and almost 450 players run across the four divisions, spread from the East Bay through the Peninsula to San Francisco and Marin.
The clubs that appear beside Hall of Fame inductees give the fuller picture: the Orioles, Monarchs, Oaks, Seals, Phillies, Brewers, Cubs, White Sox, Giants, Indians, Twins, Astros, Barons, Pirates, Madbirds, Beavers, Sidewinders, Red Sox and Braves. Several are recorded with a year attached -- the '91 Red Sox, the '88 Braves, the PCL Oaks -- which is a league that knows which vintage of a club a man belonged to.
The Seals, the Oaks and the Monarchs are all names from real Bay Area baseball history, carried forward by amateur clubs.
A High Cheese team page belongs to the club rather than the season, so the Oaks keep one address across every roster, championship and Hall of Famer they produced -- which is the thing a Hall of Fame list currently has to do in brackets.
