Paid for at the door
The league puts uniformed umpires at every game and says so in its recruitment pitch, alongside pro-quality baseballs -- both funded directly by the registration fee, together with fields and insurance. For $150 or $175 a season that is a clear statement about what kind of baseball this is.
Their authority is broad: sole discretion to expel a player or manager, the call on suspending a game for safety, and mandatory ejection for a fielder who intentionally obstructs a runner. Anyone ejected misses the rest of that game and the next one, with reinstatement for the second only by appeal to the board.
No umpire association is named and no route to working games is published. Assigning crews across a county is the same problem as scheduling the games, and a High Cheese league page handles both from the same fixture list.
