For baseball nuts
The MTABA states its mission in one line: to provide a fun, competitive environment where baseball nuts can continue to play the game they love. It is an adult wood bat league across Middle Tennessee, running four full-time divisions in 2026 — 18+, 30+, 50+ and 60+.
The structure is published in detail. The 18+, 30+ and 50+ each play a twenty-game regular season, two games a week from early May to mid or late August: the 18+ takes a Saturday or Sunday plus a weeknight, the 30+ takes Saturdays plus a Tuesday or Thursday, the 50+ takes Sundays plus a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. The 60+ plays fifteen, all on Saturdays. Every division has its own postseason tournament. Costs run roughly $275 to $400 a player a year depending on the team. High Cheese gives a league one address it owns carrying all four divisions' fixtures, tables and rosters, so a structure worked out this carefully is visible to the men it was designed around.
