Four divisions, four weekly rhythms
The season runs from early May to mid or late August. The 18+ plays a weekend game plus one weeknight; the 30+ plays Saturdays plus a Tuesday or Thursday; the 50+ plays Sundays plus a Monday, Wednesday or Friday; the 60+ plays fifteen games, all Saturdays. Each division ends in its own postseason tournament, and tryouts run each spring.
Giving four age groups four different weekly patterns is how a league fits eighty-odd games a week onto eleven borrowed fields without colliding with itself. A High Cheese calendar carries all four divisions on one subscription and pushes a rainout to every affected player's phone, which for a league whose rain decisions are made by three different parks departments is the missing link.
