Twenty-one champions, and two shared titles
The roll runs unbroken: Cubs in 2005, Dirtbags in 2006 and 2007, Thunder in 2008, then Dirtbags again for three straight, a shared title between the Dirtbags and Cardinals in 2012, Dirtbags in 2013, Cardinals in 2014, another shared title in 2015, then Reds in 2016, 2017 and 2018, Stars in 2019, Knights in 2020 and 2021, Brewers in 2022, River Bandits in 2023, and Pirates in 2024 and 2025. A separate roll covers the 45+ and its 50+ successor from 2013.
Recording two seasons as shared championships rather than inventing a winner is a small piece of integrity most leagues would quietly skip. The league also names its MVPs — one man won it in consecutive years — and its Frank Coll Memorial Sportsmanship Award winners with their clubs. High Cheese builds and runs a bracket off the standings a season produced and keeps the champion attached to the year, including the ones that end level.
