Two Tri-Cities, one of them unreadable
There are two Tri-Cities Adult Baseball Leagues in our records and they are two thousand miles apart. One is in Washington state around Kennewick. This one is in the far northeast corner of Tennessee -- Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol, three towns that function as one metropolitan area without any of them conceding to be its centre.
Neither region intends to stop calling itself the Tri-Cities.
This league's only address is a Facebook group, which Facebook refuses to serve to non-browser requests, so nothing about it can be read and nothing distinguishes it from its namesake except a state abbreviation in our own filing.
A High Cheese league page fixes both problems at once: a permanent address naming the league, the state and the towns, with the schedule, the standings and every roster rendered as pages -- so a player in Bristol finds Bristol rather than Kennewick.
