Including a weather page
The league keeps a blog, a Current Weather page, a News and Info section, and a Crossover and Waitlist list for players moving between divisions or waiting for a spot.
A weather page on an adult baseball site in Maine is not decoration — it is the first thing anybody checks on a Sunday morning in May, and the cancellation procedure hangs off it. None of the three renders content for a plain reader. A league on High Cheese gets a wire where finals post themselves as the books are finalized and a cancellation reaches every player's phone, so the weather page and the blog stop being the only channels.
