Dated to the hour
The published year: indoor workouts on Saturday April 25 from 10am to noon for MW45 and Sunday April 26 from 1pm to 3pm for MW60; draft day Monday April 19; opening day May 3 for both divisions. Then the two dates everybody circles — MW45 plays a double at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach on Saturday May 9, 10am and 2pm, and MW60 does the same on Sunday May 17.
The season runs late April or early May to late August, mostly Sundays with occasional Saturdays, weekend games at 9am, noon or 3pm and weekday games at 6pm, all seven innings. Doubleheaders only when necessary. In late June, July and early August the MW45 adds a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday game when a rained-out weekend needs rescheduling. A High Cheese calendar carries all of that and syncs to every player's phone, so a midweek makeup finds men in their fifties who are not checking a website.
