Two seasons, three brackets, one coast
The SABL runs a Major League at 18-and-over and a Senior League at 35-and-over, with a 40+ competition alongside them, across a spring season and a separate fall season. It calls itself Southeast Georgia's premier baseball league and organises itself like one: a board of directors, a field maintenance supervisor, published rules, a champions table, a Hall of Fame and an FAQ that answers the questions people actually ask.
Its clubs carry the names you would expect and a few you would not -- the Braves, Knights, Thrashers, Royals, Spartans, White Sox, Athletics, Marlins, Steamers, Outlaws, Pirates, Red Sox, Angels, Bulls, Reds, Rhinos, Black Sox, Blue Crabs, Goon Squad and Little Lucky's.
Its own updates are written like a beat report: a playoff post naming Jarrett Karnibad setting the tone on the mound and Rudy Amaya locking down the final two innings in a 9-3 Knights win, and Drew Mann and Elias Macias combining for a four-hit, one-run masterclass in a 13-1.
All of it goes out through a social feed rather than into a record. A High Cheese league page keeps the schedule, the standings and every roster at an address the league owns, so the writing has something permanent to sit beside.
