Meetings published, which is rare
The league publishes its meeting dates on the board page -- an open board meeting in November and a spring coaches' meeting in January -- and its FAQ adds that teams typically begin forming in January to allow time to register players, order uniforms and arrange practices.
The playing calendar around them: spring from the Sunday after the Super Bowl to August, fall from the Sunday after Labor Day to mid-November.
Publishing an open board meeting is a league inviting its own members into the governance, which is worth noting.
A season entered once on a High Cheese league page puts every one of those into each player's own calendar -- the meetings, the team-forming window and both openings -- rather than into a page somebody has to remember to update.
