The one week nobody is playing
Augusta is on television every April and invisible for the other fifty-one weeks, which is roughly the position its adult baseball league is in permanently.
We hold a name and nothing else. No website, no social page, no hosted listing -- there is no address in our records at all, which means nothing about this league can be confirmed, including whether it still plays.
That is the most common condition in amateur baseball and the least reported. A league does not usually announce that it has folded; it simply stops being findable, and a directory keeps the name because removing it would be a guess.
If Augusta MSBL is still going, a High Cheese league page costs it nothing to claim: a permanent address with the schedule, the standings and every roster rendered as pages, which is the difference between a name in somebody's list and a league a man in Richmond County can actually join.
