Twelve games, and a drive into Texas
The season runs from late April to the end of August, primarily on weekends, and both divisions play twelve regular season games. A Sunday in August has the Trash Pandas at the Firedogs at three, the Storm at the Elysian Fields Rangers at six across the state line in Texas, and the Redbirds at the Red River Rats twice at six and half past seven.
Twelve games is a short season, and the 27+ division's doubleheaders are how it fits into a summer of weekends.
A High Cheese schedule puts each game and its ground into every player's phone and moves it in place when weather takes a weekend, which in a twelve-game season costs a team a twelfth of its year.
