One post, kept current
The league's news section carries a single substantial item, and it is the recruitment piece -- three numbered routes into the league, the fee, the season dates, the draft workout, the waiting list and the eligibility rules, all in one place. It ends with a line worth quoting: our league has grown so much since it began in 1993, and with your help we can continue to grow in providing enjoyable adult baseball to the Ark-La-Tex.
Alongside it sits a newsletter subscription.
A recruitment post doing that much work should sit at the league's own address rather than in a news feed on a rented host. A High Cheese league page keeps it as the join page, beside the schedule and the roster it is recruiting for.
