The shape is published, the games are not
The league states its calendar precisely -- 30 to 32 games from April through August, 10 to 14 from September through November, doubleheaders on Saturday or Sunday -- and publishes no fixture list. There is a calendar page with month, list and day views, and nothing on the public record that says who plays whom.
For 24-plus teams across eighteen fields in four boroughs, that means the schedule exists somewhere private and is redistributed by managers.
That is precisely the problem a High Cheese schedule solves: one fixture list at the league's own address, syncing to every player's phone with the field attached, so nobody plays a doubleheader in the Bronx that was moved to Red Hook on Thursday.
