The answers, in the league's own numbers
It is 18 and over. There are five divisions, Sandlot through Expansion, A-, A and AA, sorted by experience rather than age. There are 24-plus teams. Spring and summer runs 30 to 32 games from April to August; fall runs 10 to 14 from September to November. Games are weekend doubleheaders, Saturday or Sunday. The long season finishes with double-elimination playoffs and a best-of-three final; the short one is single-elimination.
What is not answered anywhere is what a team pays, whether bats are wood, and which division a returning thirty-five-year-old should ask for -- the league points to its divisions pages for placement guidance and leaves cost off the public record entirely.
Those are the three questions every prospective player asks first. A High Cheese league page answers them at the top of the join page, in the same place the schedule and the free agent form already live.
