Given the hard calls, never introduced
The rules hand real decisions to whoever is working: a new inning cannot start 2 hours 45 minutes after first pitch, the game clock stops for thirty minutes when a field is cleared for lightning and then resumes running whether or not the lightning has, and a called game ends every fixture scheduled behind it that day. The recaps refer to MLB rules being followed on extra-inning placements.
Not one umpire, crew or assignor is named anywhere, in a league that broadcasts every game it plays. On High Cheese the crew attaches to the fixture, so an official is part of the record of the game he worked rather than the only person on the field who is anonymous.
