A year with a reserve date built in
Tryouts fall on Saturday June 13, 2026, followed by the draft and the draft show. The regular season runs roughly seven weeks from August through October, pending weather, then playoff and championship weekends. The league keeps one weekend in reserve past the championship, used only if the final itself is lost to weather.
It is blunt about the rest: rained-out games are not made up, every game scheduled after a rainout that day is called too, and there is no proration of fees. Holding a spare weekend for the final and no others is an honest allocation of the only slack a seven-week season has. A High Cheese calendar carries the whole year and pushes a called Sunday to every player's phone before he leaves the house.
