Four tiebreakers, published in order
The league splits into GRBL North and GRBL South and publishes the ranking metrics in sequence: win-loss, then head to head, then runs allowed, then runs scored. Season X's regular season ended with the Ducks taking the South and a first-round bye and the Mavericks taking the North on a day when the Locos lost earlier — a division decided by somebody else's result, which is exactly the situation a published tiebreaker exists for.
Ranking on runs allowed before runs scored is an unusual choice and a defensible one in a wood bat league. Standings on High Cheese come out of the games themselves and apply the league's own tiebreakers automatically, so a division settled by a third club's result settles itself.
